Housing

The only difference can be that gargs can grow larger than cresties so bear this in mind when choosing a suitable enclosure.

I generally find that gargs often like insects more than cresties do!
Shedding

Gargs are generally less likely to tolerate being handled when shedding, or let you remove any without biting.

Heating

The warm side should have a temperature of around 26/27 degrees celsius, and the cooler side around 23. Use digital thermometers to monitor the temperatures of both sides and ensure the temperature gradient is suitable. A digital heat gun is a very useful tool for checking temperatures in specific areas. If keeping a large number of geckos, it's more appropriate to heat a room to the required temperature.
